Thirsty
Classic Daquiri
  Daquiri was created in Cuba after the town of the same name. It's beauty is in it's simplicity: Rum Lime Sugar come together in a succulent and refreshing beverage. It took off after it was discovered by Ernest Hemmingway.  
Makes four 3.5 oz drinks

  • 4 thin round lime slices for garnish

  • 8 oz light rum

  • 8 oz lime sour mix

  • cocktail glasses

Fill Pitcher with ice, add rum and sour mix. Shake or stir until container is beaded with sweat and frosty to the touch, or the mixture is frothy. Strain into cocktail glasses and float a lime slice on top of each. Variations: Rim the glass with sugar and fill them with crushed ice before straining in the drink. Add 2 oz marachino liquer or cointreau before shaking or stirring.
